How to install Unlock Bootloader and install TWRP recovery on Oppo R7sf (Snapdragon)

Cách 1:

Bước 5: Trên điện thoại vào cài đặt => ( giới thiệu điện thoại ) => gõ 7 lần vào phần số phiên bản => back ra => vào phần ( khác ) => ( Tùy chọn nhà phát triển ) bật gỡ lỗi USB => Bật mở khóa OEM .

Bước 6 : Vào chế độ fastboot => nhấn đồng thời phím Nguồn + Tăng âm lượng ( Nhớ tắt điện thoại hẳn rồi mới thực hiện ) cắm dây để kết nối điện thoại với máy tính

Bước 7 : Mở Minimal ADB and Fastboot trên máy tính và gõ từng cái dòng lệnh sau:
Gõ : fastboot oem unlock rồi nhấn Enter (Để unlock Bootloader) Chờ cho đến khi báo finished
Sau đó gõ tiếp : fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-r7sf-eng-final.img rồi nhấn Enter chờ cho đến khi báo finished
Sau đó gõ tiếp : fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot_revert.mbn rồi nhấn Enter chờ cho đến khi báo finished
Sau đó gõ tiếp : fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-r7sf-eng-final.img rồi nhấn Enter chờ cho đến khi báo finished => máy sẽ tự động vào recovery

Nếu ko có fastboot thì làm theo cách 2 để có fastboot

Cách 2: Guide: How to install TWRP on R7sf (Snapdragon)
1. You need to be on a specific ColorOS Rom Version for this to work!
Q: I have installed Project Spectrum will it work?
No! It will not work when you are on Project Spectrum. Project Spectrum has alot of changes
in the partitions (like different TZ Data, different kernel, different dtb, etc)
I have compiled TWRP to work from ColorOS!
I have compiled CM13 to work from ColorOS!
2. Download specific ColorOS Rom Version here:

3. Before you flash, backup all your User data. Connect your phone to your pc. Mount the sdcard
and copy all your data.
4. When you have finished downloading the ColorOS ROM. Copy the ROM to your sdcard.
5. Reboot your Oppo R7s into stock recovery.
6. Process to flash the downloaded ColorOS Rom.
7. The Next step is very important!
After flashing. Boot into ColorOS.
As soon as you are finished booting. Turn on „airplane mode“. We want to prevent ColorOS
from auto-updating via OTA. Because it will break OppoTools from rooting!
8. Connect your phone to your pc and copy OppoTools 1.6.5 to your sdcard!
9. Use any good file explorer (such as ES File Explorer, Total Commander) to install OppoTools.
Dont forget to enable installation from „unknown source“ in safety and privacy settings before
installation.
OppoTools 1.6.5
1. Go to the Common tab and select ROOT.
2. An application install prompt will appear for "OppoToolsPlugin", Install it.
3. Once complete, re-open OPPO Tools and select ROOT once again.
4. One Key Root will open, Select the One Key Root button to start the ROOT process.
5. Your device will restart multiple times, just be patient.
6. If the installation was successful, you will notice SuperSU has been installed.
Rooted Oppo R7s
10. Download Stericson Busybox installer and install it.

11. Once installed start it and click the button „Install“ to install Stericson’s busybox.
12. Next Download and Install Minimal ADB and Fastboot from here: http://forum.xdadevelopers.

13. Then Download and Install Universal ADB Drivers here:
http://adbdriver.com/downloads/
14. Connect your phone your PC and start „ADB Driver Installer“. It will detect your phone and tell
you if you have the proper drivers installed or not. If not click the button that says Install
drivers. If you have Windows 7/8/10 you will need to disable driver signature. Read here how
to: http://adbdriver.com/documentation/
15. After the drivers have been installed and working. Connect your phone to your PC.
16. Enable USB debugging in the Developer Options (General>More>Developer Options>USBDebugging.
To enabel hidden developer options hit 8-10 times the „Build Number“ in „About
Phone“
17. On the phone click the box to allow your PC to communicate with your Phone using USB
Debugging.
Unlocking the Bootloader
18. Thanks to all the people that complained about Oppo removing and disabling the fastboot
commands. The commands have returned in Project Spectrum!
19. As the ColorOS has no working fastboot commands we need to replace aboot of ColorOS with
the aboot of Project Spectrum.
20. First connect your Phone to your PC and create a Folder on your SDCard named „Oppo“.
21. Then download the latest aboot from project spectrum from my GDrive here:

22. Place this file into the „Oppo“ folder you just created.
23. Start „Minimal ADB and Fastboot“ while you are still connected to your Phone
24. Now enter the following commands
adb shell [Hit Enter]
su [Hit Enter]

dd if=/storage/emulated/0/Oppo/emmc_appsboot.mbn of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/aboot

[Hit Enter]
25. Now that we have replaced the bootloader we can boot into fastboot. While still in „Minimal
ADB and Fastboot“ enter the following commands:
exit [Hit Enter]
exit [Hit Enter]
adb reboot fastboot [Hit Enter]
26. Do Not Panic! Your phone has just rebooted into „fastboot“ and your phone shows the Oppo
Logo as if it were stuck. READ CAREFULLY NOW. THE NEXT STEPS ARE IMPORTANT.
We need to unlock the bootloader, flash the twrp recovery and most important revert back to
the old aboot. Do not worry. I have made a backup for you and placed it on my GDrive for this
guide
27. To confirm that your device is in fastboot you can enter the command „fastboot devices“
It will return your devices serialnumber.
28. To unlock the bootloader enter the following commands:
fastboot oem unlock [Hit enter]
it will finish almost instantly. As we have no working variables output in Oppos fastboot. You
can check if its unlocked by entering the command „fastboot oem unlock“ again.
It should return „FAILED ,remote: Already Unlocked“
29. Now download my latest and final TWRP:

This one is even newer than the official TWRP version. It has all the Time/Date and TimeZone
fixes!
30. Go to your installation directory of „Minimal ADB and Fastboot“
For 64Bit Windows it is in here: „c:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot\“
for 32Bit it should be „c:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot\
Place „twrp-3.0.2-0-r7sf-eng-final.img“ into that folder
Go back to the Fastboot Terminal Window and enter the following command:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-r7sf-eng-final.img [Hit Enter]
We now have written TWRP as our recovery!
31. Now download the backed up aboot from GDrive here:

32. Place „emmc_appsboot_revert.mbn“ into the same folder as you placed TWRP!
Go back to the Fastboot Terminal Window and enter the following command:
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot_revert.mbn[Hit Enter]
we now have reverted back our aboot.
33. Why? Because if you don’t revert to ColorOS aboot. You will not be able to boot the Rom and
it will be stuck at the Oppo Logo!
Now Turn off your phone and On again to boot into ColorOS.
You can also boot into TWRP and backup your data!
I highly recommend to back-up your EFS DATA at least once and copy this backup to your
computer!
I have created latest ColorOS pre-rooted and signed roms for the R7Sf.
